Flying Fairy

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best. The design for this little girl's room was inspired by a tiny fairy on the lid of her jewellery box. I painted the fairy flying across one wall, sitting above the door, and a huge version of her as a height chart in the space between the wardobe doors. Naturally, lots of sparkly silver glitter was added to tiaras, wands and wings! I always like to add some little secret details for the owner of the room to discover - here, I added a dove perched above a wardrobe door, and a flower next to the bed. This mural took me a day to paint.
