Primary School Mural
When Goldington Green Lower School in Bedford said they wanted a large mural for their assembly hall, I didn't realise quite how large they meant - they had to erect scaffolding! I created a design that would symbolise the continual cycle of the school year, with children holding multi-coloured ribbons dancing around a maypole tree which reflects the changing seasons.
Sixth Form Mural
Here I worked with a group of A Level art students at The Hemel Hempstead School to create a bright, modern design for their 6th Form common room. The tree with its deep roots symbolises growth and nuturing, representing the journey the students undertake during their time in the 6th Form as they prepare for life in the outside world. Objects representing some of the subjects studied hang from the branches.
