art workshops

At the Hemel Hempstead School, I held workshops with a group of sixth form students to develop and explore ideas for the mural to be painted in their common room. After deciding on a main theme, the students all worked on their own individual ideas, which we then assimilated into the final design. I assigned roles for each student according to their particular creative skills and who they worked with best. I painted the main mural, with the students each adding their own sections.
